Lladro sculptor Jose Puche captured the innocence and mischief of a little boy Harlequin clown who lays on a shelf and dangles one leg over the edge. Named "Neglected," the boy clown is dressed in a pale blue and gray costume with a white collar and cuffs and matching poms on his slippers. He is lounging on his side with painted red cheeks, a coy smile, a button nose, and curly brown hair under a tricorn hat. His face rests on his hand and he appears to be pointing to something below him. "Neglected" was released in 1986 and retired in 1991. The clown measures approximately 8 inches from the tip of his tricorn hat to his toe; approximately 3 1/2 inches from his shoulder to the tip of his downward pointing finger. He weighs approximately 8 oz. In mint condition. No flaws. Original box with shredded paper padding. Lladro item number 001503
