Art Deco Terracotta Clown Figurine. Likely United States, circa 1940 ( or later ). This is a PRETTY and UNIQUE piece, ALL hand made in Terracotta ( Clay ). Bust of a clown ( Jester ), nicely done, a lot of expressions. Hand painted and glazed. Signed underside ( SZ ) or can read ( ZS ). I don’t know this artist, but it is definitely well done. Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the work. Dimensions : H : 9.5 inches ( 24 cm ) D : 7.5 inches ( 19 cm ) W : 7 inches ( 18 cm ) Weight : 6 lbs 6 oz ( 2.9 kgs ).
